Design.

The S23 is expected to have a slightly larger bezel, 0.15mm on all four sides around the display leading to an extra 0.3mm in height and width compared to the Galaxy S22. sources from Ice Universe indicate that the increase in bezel may not be popular with users who seem to be obsessed with smaller bezels.

Credible sources indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will measure 6.43 x 3.07 x 0.35 inches up from the S22’s dimensions of 6.42 x 3.06 x 0.35 inches.

Display.

Camera.

The optics are tipped to contain a larger camera module. At 200MP this module is rumored to be the key to unlocking more out of the Galaxy Phone photography. This camera will have 0.6µm pixels and a larger aperture of f/1.7 for capturing more light. This increase is not as significant as expected but it’s an improvement nonetheless. Other credible sources claim that the selfie camera will be 12 MP, a significant improvement from the previous model. The telephoto camera is expected to be similar to that of the S22.

Performance.

Samsung Galaxy S23 has been indicated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset rather than Samsung’s own Exynos 2230 5G chipset. The exact processor specs are yet to be revealed and the same goes for the RAM and internal storage. You can however expect large RAM and internal storage offerings broken down into different sizes to suit different customer needs and expectations.

Battery Life.

With the battery life on the Galaxy S22 proving a big disappointment, there are indications that the issue will be addressed in the Samsung Galaxy S23. Sources so far point to the rumoured Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 being the key to extended battery life and better power-management feature.

Connectivity.

The phone is expected to have 5G, VoLTE with dual stand-by, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a v2.0 USB Type-C port. and GPS with A-GPS live-locating.
